“ This was my first time trying their food and OMG it's delicious!!!! I'm a very picky eater and Owen got me to try a few different things and they were all sooo delicious! I recommend taste of reggae 10/10 hands down! ”
“ Upon arrival, I was greeted and my food was waiting for me to come to be plated. It was fresh, hot and he showed me the food for my approval after it was plated. The food was so delicious and portions are extra large. I ordered curry chicken and the chicken portions were large with a lot of juice (broth) for the rice and peas. Cabbage was perfect and my son got jerk wings, Mac n cheese (delicious) with Rasta pasta. He loved all of it and ate it all in one setting. One container fed 3 of us including a teen and 10 year old. Service was professional and very friendly environment. We’ll definitely be back. ”
“ Had a nice meal here. Ordered the stewed beef with rice and beans and sauteed cabbage, it was tasty, good food, and lots of it. Washed it down with a cold serving of diet coke. It hit the spot. Had a nice conversation with the owner, had a good laugh too, it made the experience. Next time I'll try a curry or jerk dish. ”
“ Went in to try Jamaican food for the first time it was great. Staff was very friendly and helped me decide what I should get. I got the oxtail it was very good no complaints. If you come here you have to get a beef patty. I ordered one ate it while I waited and had to order another on the way out. Food was hot and fresh and the prices weren’t anything crazy or ridiculous. When you walk in there’s music playing that was cool. Not going to lie the place kinda looks sketchy from the outside and when you walk in but that doesn’t matter the food was good staff was friendly and I will be back for more. ”
“ Food is yummy. Got curry chicken, goat, Rasta pasta, beef patties, and Mac and cheese. I did a door dash order, and one of the sides I had ordered was out but they were quick to call me and have it swapped to something else and even threw in the beef patties for the trouble. Super friendly on the phone. I'm kinda wimpy when it comes to spice, but this was all flavorful without being too spicy for me. Only minor complaint would be it's a tad more bone then I'd prefer, but the portions are huge, I have plenty of food to split for lunch and dinner tonight. ”
“ I ordered the jerk chicken with white rice, and plantains....the other meal was supposed to be curry chicken with cabbage and Mac n cheese. However they were out of the curry chicken. The owner was gracious and apologetic.(things happen) so I ended up getting another jerk chicken meal. Anyhow, the food is Amazing ...authentic....the portions honestly 2! Could eat off of one dinner. Thanks Taste of Reggae ...I’ll see you all soon. If you haven’t been there and you love this type of cooking . Ginger you some. You won’t be disappointed. “ I'm new to the area and decided to try this restaurant and I was not disappointed! I could tell from the 1st bite that this was not processed meat. It was soooo tender, moist, full of flavor and filling. The sandwich was loading with meat and a hint of the fat that simply melted in your mouth. The bread was moist and complimented the pork. I'm really excited to try the other sandwiches. I also tried a beef pattie. The beef filling wasn't hot, just spicy and the crust was flaky and good. If you like patties then you should definitely try them. My husband got the jerk wings and said they were really flavorful with just enough heat for everyone to enjoy. He didn't need or want the reggae sauce that came with the wings because it had a different flavor and would change the flavor of the jerk. He also loved the fact that the wings were whole wings and not the little wingettes. He stated he would definitely order them again and get the larger size. Overall we really enjoyed our meal !! ”
